Beautiful blossoms on our street...
Granny squares nicely joined thanks to a helpful tutorial from the marvelous Lucy at Attic24
Some sweet daffodils that have not been destroyed by Little J or the four hounds.....
Rescued daffodils whose fate was doomed at the hands and paws of aforementioned destruction crew!
The sewing machine is warming up for some action this afternoon before tea. There are two or three quilting items that require some finishing and have been hanging around too long...hopefully these will be ready for sharing later in the week.
Toodles and Happy Easter......L x

There is no real reason for the time between posts. I see the little ticker thing has turned over a couple of times, which I think is not generated by me. Quite a bit has happened since my last post - Big J turned the big 17, spring has gotten underway with only a one day threat of snow, which did not materialize and I got my drivers license (on the same day as Big J turned the big 17). I think I would post more often if I could figure out a faster way to load photos to blogger. It is painfully slow. I have tested on all three of our computers - big old desktop, mini laptop and don't tell him, but Mr. VW's shining new laptop when he was off fishing one day...but they are all slow. Mr. VW's shining new laptop out performed all of course, but I might be in the doghouse if he catches me.... So if you happen to have any quick tips, I would appreciate them!
Anyway, its a beautiful day here today at the Gephart, breezy which makes it a bit chilly, but the sun is shining and there is barely a cloud in the sky. A perfect day for the EB to hop into town with a basket full of chocolate and of course a perfect day for Mr. VW to sneak off for some fishing! We have had a lovely 3 day holiday, with a trip to Fort Frederick and Antietam on Friday (unfortunately the camera opted to stay a home!), a lazy day on Saturday with the hook in hand and a new movie and a Sunny Sunday with some planting in the garden.
