Cabin Quilting with a Cat

Pumpkin and I have been conquering the quilting log cabin......well occasionally it has conquered us, but nothing that some quick unpicking can't fix.

Thank you Little J for this lovely Christmas pressie fabric. I a big fat jelly roll of 2 1/2 inch batik strips.

Lovely pre-cut strips.......sorry no before photo of the roll - remember, patience and I are not friends :-)

If my calculations are right I'll be able to make 25 of these cabins which are about 11" x 13".

A nice small quilt to hand stitch............possibly to go down under to my lovely sis??? :-)

Poor Pumpkin after completing 15 cabins is completely exhausted and decided to take a nap.....on the cabins of course!

That's lovely Louise! Adore your little assistant - funny how cats just know what colours they look good against isn't it?

Happy Holidays and best wishes for 2010 to you.

The quilt looks stunning!

Oh animals are genius to put themselves right on what you need... The blanket or the pillow also for an example!
