A Sunday Reveal

Hello lovely readers!  Hope you have had a fab weekend. I won't spoil it with too many words, just photos to reveal the completed Birthday Blanket at last.

And that is my completed Birthday Blanket (not as wonky as the photo would have you believe).  Started in December with yarn chosen by my lovely boy and finished in August of the hottest summer ever!
Wishing you all a lovely week!

Only a dedicated mother would work through the heat as you have. Well done I hope he appreciates it. I'm sure he does. Is it for the college boy to take away with him?
It is lovely anyway. I'm inspired by all you clever people who crochet so well.
Cheers
Helen

Wow that is fabulous!! I love the edging. I still only tackle small projects the biggest being a cardigan so far. I imagine all that woolly hookiness gets a little unwieldy by the final round :-)

What a great blanket - love the colours- and the way you have used smaller squares around the edge! It looks super!
