Arlington National Cemetery

Sometimes there are no words needed.

I have been here so can remember the feeling of speechlessness. Only words I can think of are "Will humanity never learn?" This must be particularly poignant for all those whose sons are in the armed forces of course.

Thinking not only of the dead but of all the people grieving. This makes an ozean full of tears.
I was at the Vietnam memorial three years ago and I could feel the pain coming from the black wall with all the many many many names on it. The load got heavier while I was walking along the wall and in the corner it was unbearable.
So your son's got home safe and sound? Have a lovely Sunday! Regula
